Upon death, we will assist you in administering the estate or trust of a decedent, including preparation of any necessary accountings and court papers. If a decedent had a trust, ordinarily you will be able to avoid a protracted and costly probate proceeding.  In such a situation, we assist you in all aspects of administering the trust, including collection of assets, establishing any necessary post-death trust accounts; sending notices, and preparing any necessary inventories, accountings and distributions.  If estate, income or trust income taxes are owed we will work with your tax preparer to timely file the returns and pay any tax due. 

If the estate is subject to probate, we will select the proper court, draft and file all necessary court petitions and related papers, send notices, arrange for publication, obtain any required bond, and assist you in your inventories and any required accountings as well as distributions and final orders.
